Founded in 1974 by its present owner and manager, Charles Steadham and Allen McCollum, Blade Agency began in Gainesville with one dance band and a commitment to excellence. Today, the company has grown to employ a full office staff with hundreds of artists and thousands of clients. As an associate member of the National Association for Campus Activities (NACA), Blade Agency introduced dozens of artists to the college market.
Steadham and McCollum added artists to the roster as the agency diversified its activities into the corporate and association convention markets. With each event, we reaffirm our commitment to excellence by providing wholesome entertainment intelligently and deliberately selected to fit the needs and goals of each client.

Blade Agency is an international full-service agency representing a variety of performers whose primary interest is providing their audiences with the best possible entertainment. For over thirty years, Blade Agency has proudly served the entertainment needs of corporations and associations, booking and/or producing thousands of shows featuring a diverse array of artists.
Our roster of entertainers is made up of consummate professionals from a wide variety of artistic disciplines: pop, nostalgia, Latin, swing and retro-swing show/dance bands; country and folk; traditional and contemporary jazz; music of the Caribbean and ethnic music from around the world; comedy, magic and dance.
